Sure, it was dumb. I don't have much sympathy for people who rob retail workers. It's such a shit job anyways without having to worry about being robbed and possibly killed. Hope he gets the max.

But to play devil's advocate, I wouldn't be surprised if the cops purposely hurt him and then filmed his reaction.
