This is what happens when you get idiots who don't understand technology making laws. Are they going to ban computers too, and outlaw the security researcher profession? Canada has become an authoritarian dystopia run by luddites.

Recently discovered this "tool" and I find it amazing.

Dumb people would rather destroy anything good rather than tell people to be more careful or companies to buff up their security flaws.

As someone who used to work QA for a Fortune 100 that developed hardware which monitored electrical systems for city infrastructure and also aviation equipment's electronics: be afraid.

So they don't realize people can just make kits with microcontrollers and the necessary peripheral components, then just seed a torrent from a magnet 🧲 link for the firmware/OS/bootstrap?
