So many reasons Apple is wrong here.

They might manage to stop the repairs of broken devices in countries like UK,USA and similar developed nations. But how are they going to stop some guy in India, running his shop in an urban jungle with no permits required and no brands affiliated to? Or some Chinese guy bringing a few parts and doing it at his house? They can't. And they can't do it properly anywhere. If you want to repair your phone, you'll manage to do it. But what apple goes for is making it difficult enough that the average person just forgoes repairs and buys new.
