In the NASA image above, the green circle represents Earth's orbit.

Isaiah 40:22

Some that hold to the belief that the earth is flat use this verse to say the earth is a circle, but this verse is describing the path of the earth being in the shape of a circle. God is the one who spreads out the heavens, so here Isaiah is talking about the path the earth makes through the heavens around the sun.

definitely started as sun worship, atenism

early humans could tell the sun brings heat and light, lack of it is darkness and cold, winter and suffering. Just common sense how it started.

It makes sense when you realize the Creator has a reason for putting everything in its place. Many of the modern-day humans would do well to think about what you claim the "early humans" could see: The sun provides heat and light. Why would God make it so? The sun is the source of all life on earth. What was the All-Wise God trying to display?

The Son of God is the true source of life. Jesus said: I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life.... No one comes to the Father but by me.

It is mistaken for us to worship idols, like the physical sun, which is only a figure of the true Son. We should worship the Son instead. When the Son was crucified, the sun went dark. When he gave his life for us, the sun remained dark for three hours, as Jesus was missing from the people of earth for three days before he was resurrected. Jesus was about 33 years old. Truly, this man was the Son of God.

And I think Sun and Son sounding same is no coincidence. You're right, Jesus represents the sun. In trinity they say god is the son at the same time. So it's still the same, sun worship.

It's Son worship. If you read God's word you will see it's the Son of God we worship. The center of our soul should be Jesus, as God demonstrated in the physical realm with a planet of light at the center of our solar system.

Soul....solar system. Everything you see in the physical realm is a representation of something in the spiritual realm. But we that worship God in spirit and in truth know not to worship anything physical, so no, we do not worship the sun, we worship the Son of God, who died for us on the cross, and rose again.
