Astronaut Jim Irwin describes a crater on the far-side of the moon as having a "sea". (He flew on Apollo 15 and orbited the moon before landing, so he had a view of the other side of the moon that is not visible from earth-based telescopes.)

NASA and the US Government know a shitload more than they are telling us. They want to avoid worldwide panic and the loss of their jobs.
