Mercury has a tail? When a special camera filter is used, the planet closest to the sun looks like a comet.

Interesting connection. The wings indicate great speed. I just read that Mercury...

The planet has no magnetosphere to protect it from solar winds, hence it constantly loses some of it's surface mass to them.
