In a video I saw a year ago they talked about one of the biggest problem with drone package delivery is that they can not operate within 10 miles of any airport and something like 60-80% of Americans live within that zone. (Don't quote me on the % but I know it was on the larger side!)

I don't know if some form of regulation can fix this but as it stands now it makes this not viable.
