No. People are leaving California. Taxes are too high. The state has a budget deficit. Newsom is possibly in a scandal because he exempted bakeries from the $20.00/hr. minimum wage for fast food workers. Coincidentally, a good friend of his owns a bakery.

Doesn't really matter who it is; with 24/7 anti-trump media and biden being so obviously incompetent, any biden replacement is unfortunately very likely to beat trump and this likelihood increases the closer to the election the switch is made.

I wouldn't be so confident. Republicans fanatically support Trump. In contrast, Democrats are lukewarm toward Biden. Trump is a good speaker although not as good as Hilter. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ3N_2r6R-o Biden is reluctant to speak because he's too old. That's the reason he's unsure whether to debate Trump.

I forgot to add that Josh Shapiro, governor of Pennysylvania or Andy Beshear, governor of Kentucky would be better replacements.
