The Dems are lining up to try and block him from returning to the US. Apparently you can only be a journalist if you pump out the authorised, pre-written narrative without media investigation or interviewing actual people now.

The attempt by the Democrats to block the journalist's return to the US is a clear violation of the freedom of the press. Journalists should be allowed to investigate and report on stories without fear of reprisal. The idea that a journalist can only be considered a journalist if they toe the party line is absurd. It is essential that we protect the freedom of the press in order to maintain a healthy democracy.

Everyone needs to remember that the Democrats and their European owners are acting like Putin. It's all very ironic. Just because western Europe is the enemy doesn't mean Putin isn't also.

Corrupt politicians must smear and attack this ferociously. They can't allow the public to directly observer events, nor hear directly from people overseas, whom you are blatantly lying to the public about. A good demonized adversary to blame everything on and keep the public's hate focused on will give you unlimited public consent. The public frequently will fall for the line that this straw-man focus is so evil and dangerous that it warrants complete disregard for laws, ethics, transparency, evidence, due process, diplomacy, or other decency, to ensure he is stopped.

Russia and Putin is a great scapegoat for this, as Russia rarely bothers trying to contradict the Western public's hypnotized brainwashing over their public. The language barrier also makes this difficult for the public to break free from. Blaming everything bad on someone who can't respond to your accusations and point out their flaws makes for a perfect decoy.
