The Democrats are stupid in running a candidate they are not confident will win the election despite knowing that Trump becoming President will endanger democracy. Obama should encourage other Democrats to run against Biden. Note that the Republicans have multiple candidates with different views vying to be their party's presidential nominee giving Republicans a wide choice.

It was foretold that Trump would win in 2024.

Who, though? Newsom? He may do well in CA and the blue states who will just vote "not Trump," but he's fucked anywhere else. Still the best they got. And barring some desperate, last-ditch surprise (Michelle Obama or Hillary), I don't see any other Dem that has the chops to go up against Trump, the likely GOP candidate.

I'd vote for a solid 3rd party candidate, but it's not Kennedy or West, or anyone else.

The Democrats should choose a moderate to replace Biden as their presidential candidate. Someone like Josh Shapiro, governor of Pennsylvania.

I like Josh Shapiro. He would be a solid candidate.
