Trump has no control over the DOJ

William Barr sunk the Mueller report for him, and he pushed investigations like this against his political enemies.

have we forgotten the Mueller Russia Russia Russia reports for 3 yrs and the two impeachments

No. He got off on those, because his DoJ never charged him, despite the evidence of his crimes detailed in the Mueller report.

and the 6 indictments since he has been out offfice all with zero results

Those are in front of the courts. Georgia election interference will be too slow to catch him before the election, and obviously his hack Eileen Cannon will delay the fuck out of the documents case. The Fraud case in NY has a chance of making an impact in time.

Hunter Biden is a crackhead.

Nevertheless, nearly no one is charged with Tax fraud who has settled the debt, and nearly no one is charged with dishonesty on a for to buy a gun, unless there is some aggravating factor.

I'm not a lawyer, but it looks like he's got a case.

I am not a lawyer either but I'm pretty sure that when Hunter Biden purchased his firearms that he was asked the following question and that he lied when he filled out these forms.

We have seen the pictures from his laptops that show him smoking a crack pipe, so it's going to be kind of hard to blame this on Trump.

Question 11.e on Form 4473 asks the purchaser: “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?” ...

That's correct. But of the 27 million background checks undertaken in a year, lying of form 4473 gets charges filed about 300 times, give or take. (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/06/09/lying-atf-gun-purchase-form-yields-few-prosecutions-new-data-shows/)

Usually when the gun has been used for a crime.

If the charges were filed against Hunter because he was Joe's son, then he has a defence.

He wasn't charged with drug use.

Form 4473 asks if you are an unlawful user, it doesn't ask if you are a convicted drug user.

You saw the pictures with the crack pipe in his mouth.

As I already said exactly in my comment above

If the fact that he is Joe's son is the reason why charges were filed in this case, he has a defence.
