Why let terrorist muzzies into the country? It's just asking for it.

It is wrong to bar entry of Palestinians. This reminds me of World War II when the US government were suspicious of the loyalty of Japanese Americans yet had no problems with German and Italian Americans. Japanese Americans fought very well in Europe. I'm sure they would have fought just as well in the Pacific just as German Americans had no problem fighting Germans during World War II and Chinese Americans had no problem fighting Chinese in the Korean War.

Correct, but it appears that the article is saying all Palestinians would be barred.

These countries are not the US. The US does not bar a specific ethnic groups. Of course, it can bar individuals suspected of being terrorists.

The US should not bar entry to a specific group of people unless it can show that everyone in the group is a threat to the US. With Palestinians I don't see how that can be done since many Palestinians already live in the country and are good citizens.

It says most don't support Hamas but how many don't support terrorism?

From the above link: What I learned – and what is most important for you to know about Palestinians – is that although Hamas is a terrorist organization, few Palestinians adhere to their terrorist ideology.

            That is not correct.

they were correct to stop the japanese from sabotaging

It is incorrect to suspect an entire ethnic group of sabotaging. Why didn't the US suspect German and Italian Americans of sabotaging?

Then call them a regional group. The point is that an entire regional group cannot be considered dangerous.

No, some Palestinians are potential terrorists and only these should be barred from entering the US.

no it is smart and logical. Probably saved the war. They did suspect germans and italians of that, the american nazi party was big before the war and it was destroyed.

                  [–]Dune1032 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

The American Nazi Party not all German Americans and German and Italian Americans were not put in internment camps.

                  [–]William_World 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

how far away from immigrating a family is plays a difference, japanese came to america more recently on average, many of them were spies so it was good they kept them well fed and comfortable in trailers during the war, it wouldn't have been as feasible if there were more of them like german and italians who came starting with the colonies.

                  [–]Dune1032 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Then why not put the more recent German and Italian immigrants in internment camps? Japanese Americans were just as loyal as other Americans. Many fought in the US Army although in segregated units.

japanese were also more savage and more likely to be spies. That's why they had to be atomic bombed too to get them to surrender. Kamikaze. Really not too different than the muslim terrorists today. Savage culture. You have to deal with them differently.

                  [–]Dune1032 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

You are mistaking dedication for savagery. All countries would like their soldiers to be so dedicated. Some question whether dropping the atomic bombs were necessary. See https://ivypanda.com/essays/reasons-why-bombing-japan-was-not-justified/

Explain why it's false. I never heard of German and Italian Americans being put in internment camps or put only in the Pacific theater.
