You didn't happen to have a problem on this occasion. You got it promptly in the mail, and you didn't need it immediately. You might have needed it sooner, and you might not have gotten it. Try to look ahead a little, if you can. There's no need for the government to inconvenience people with pointless red tape simply because it feels like it.

Since our government under the FJB regime has proven themselves utterly worthless at protecting America in any way shape or form this small addition of a layer for a DL is no bother to me. Amazing all the places where ID is demanded and the dimmos continue to trot out their old dog that it's somehow racist and poor little dindu-nuffins somehow have a problem with all our Jim Crow laws and barriers to get one. I have had to get a DL in 5 countries and not one of them any real problem at all with my right documents of legal right to be and live in that country. Did you read that the TSA is supposed to accept the arrest and detainee document from Border Agents of proof of identity when the illegals are sent to go fly in our planes? Just fuck amazing.

Putting arbitrary obstacles in the way of people getting ID isn't going to make you more secure. Top secret locations for producing state ID's is just a ridiculous joke.
