first we just need to turn our back to them fact is they add nothing to the world they only take if we stop letting them take everything we win whats holding us back you ask well the will is the way. but it be too hard you say not really its our government our media our schools etc we built them staff them and run them... best part is no one need to get them they will get to be rich still the only thing that changes is they get to pay their part and don't get to control everything...

Sure, 99% > 1% And yet, nothing has happened Hence, is the will to turn our back (still) missing - after all this time?

Problem is: no one (not even here, and this is the first time I am seeing you here) is engaging in discussions on the idea (of turning our backs to them) e.g. One would think this or other similar posts would be upvoted and/or pinned on s/Politics so that people could focus attention on it. But, no - not even an upvote. So, what must change?

I think the simplest answer would be that people won't commit to that kind of change and the uncertainty it brings until they have no other choice. And even then they'll need a leader to take them there.

People won't commit, sure, but at this stage, why wouldn't they even discuss such change including for example the form it could take to minimize uncertainty?
