Americans having a negative view of so many government officials graduating from Ivy League schools should be asked if they had to choose between a candidate who graduated from Columbia University or one who graduated from an unknown university, who would they choose and why.

Columbia is elite, which inoculates attitudes hateful, false and derogatory towards ordinary Americans. State U for sure.

Schweizer said, "Well, let me tell you, I would recommend everybody go out and get an academic book published last year called "What Washington Gets Wrong," and it's two scholars from Johns Hopkins University who do a massive survey of senior unelected executives in government, basically the deep state, and asks them a bunch of questions. And as the authors describe the deep state has contemptuous attitudes towards the average American."

"They think they're far less educated than they actually are," he continued. "They think they are far more dependent than they actually are. They're arrogant, they believe, and say in the surveys if the American people want one thing, and they think it's wrong, they're going to push something else. There's a massive disconnect, and the deep state is real, and it's a threat to our republic form of government."

What makes you think those who are poorly educated think differently? In order to graduate from an elite university, a person has to be intelligent and knowledgeable. When the US entered World War II, most Americans wanted the US to concentrate on fighting Japan. Fortunately, America's leaders knew that Germany was the greater danger.

There's where you're wrong, bucko.

You just have to have rich parents. You'll graduate. And then lead us into Vietnam and Iraq, both of which were done by Ivy League graduates.

No. To get in an applicant has to have high SAT scores and good grades. To graduate a student has to have good grades. This indicates high intelligence. Would you want a slow learner as an elected official? George Santos claimed he graduated from Baruch College in New York, but the school said it has no record of him.

BZZT wrong! They freely admit students due to how rich their parents are, or what color their skin is. George W. Bush was famously a midwit and Obama was a diversity student. We haven't won a war since WWII. Vietnam was committed almost entirely by Ivy Leaguers. Ukraine too.

If elite universities freely admit students of rich parents, there would have been no college admissions cheating scandal. See https://www.cnn.com/2022/12/29/us/college-admissions-scandal-rick-singer/index.html

Try that in a small town.
