That's just nonsense fed by your bias.

republicans established the social progress by attempting to improve the economy

The Dems are simply evil and always have been . Hellbent on starting new wars, invading countries, escalating military conflict,

I think you are misremembering who was in power at the time of patriot act and Iraq.

But regardless.

You've just written biased fluff here.

Please consider this: if I could write the exact same thing but swap the team names, then you're probably just laying out your biases rather than describing reality.

For example:

You can write - "The Dems are simply evil and always have been".

I can write - "republicans are simply evil and always have been".

Nowhere is there any judgement of facts - we're just explaining our biases to one another.

And just like me saying "no, your side is evil" won't ever convince you - please show me the same respect by withholding your bias and only engaging with me on the facts.

It's a fact that the dems' servers were hacked by trump-supporting state actors and it's a (court approved) fact that the Dominion/Chavez bullshit was totally made up.

That's why I wrote about those factual things and not just talked about my biases.

So please show the same respect when you speak to me.

"No! The republicans start wars and hate civil rights!"

"No! The dems start wars and hate civil rights!"

Neither side is going to convince the other.

But if you want to talk about justice dept indictments and supreme court appointments and whose emails I read on wikileaks - those are factual topics which we can engage on.

I was just making a point that you can write whatever you want about each of them and you come up with the same result. They are both shit parties full of corruption and shit stirring.

No, you're quite wrong, please take a look at this -

One side has a regressive base and one side has a progressive base. Individual politicians can suck but the overall direction from voters is absolutely not the same on both sides.

Figures check out. You are correct, the voter bases are equally as polarised in opposite directions.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not?

If you look at the figures - you can't come away with the conclusion that the only difference is 'giant douche' versus 'turd sandwich'. One side is trying to get a Progressive agenda done, the other side is trying to Conserve the status quo.

You can have a preference for which one of those things happens, but you can't tell me with a straight face that they're both the same.

There's nothing progressive about 'progressives'.

"There's nothing conservative about 'conservatives'"

Surely that convinced you, right? Did I sway you to my side with that incredible argument?

There is no convincing delusional asshats like you. Learned that a while ago.
