H1B's are heavily abused in the tech sector, which no one talks about. I work in tech myself and over half the people in the building are Indians here on H1B. The idea of H1B is that you grab someone foreign cause you can't find someone local that's qualified enough (This is the legal part of it), but what happens is they run the ad in some no name newspaper (which no one reads newspapers anymore) for the position, the position has jacked up requirements (10 years project management experience, 15 years obscure programming language) and no one takes it cause no one saw it or qualifies for it, then if they get audited by the government (they won't since the government doesn't care) they can say they tried finding Americans, but no one took the job. The diversity stops unionization cause an H1B will get shipped back home in they try striking. It's a dirty business which someone needs to stop.

That's why there are so many Indians in this pic. They were working 4 hour days before, and they'll gladly put in the extra 36 they've been skipping out on now that their time in America is threatened.

Plus, Indians tend to get into positions of power in the companies, then they use H1Bs to bring their friends over from India.
