The alt-right, an abbreviation of alternative right, is a loosely connected white supremacist and white nationalist movement. A largely online phenomenon, the alt-right originated in the United States during the late 2000s before increasing in popularity during the mid-2010s and establishing a presence in other countries, and then declining since 2017. The term is ill-defined, having been used in different ways by alt-right members, media commentators, journalists, and academics. A far-right movement, it rejects mainstream political ideologies such as conservatism and liberalism. - wiki

This is basically the ADL propaganda definition. The reality is far more complicated.

The sole reason for the decline of the alt right is a dystopian level of Jewish led censorship. If not for that, the alt right would probably be the dominant youth ideology of whites in the west today. Alt right subs on reddit were the most popular subs until they were effectively banned and anyone who tried to resurrect them blacklisted. These views are still probably strong among a lot of younger whites since just about everything the alt right predicted has come to pass the last 5 years, but the Jewish establishment stranglehold on social media and the internet keeps these views hidden.

What is the reality?

Based on what I've seen, the alt right is a loose coalition of disillusioned people who know something is deeply wrong with establishment neoliberal orthodoxy. They believe we live in a dysfunctional, corrupt, hypocritical anti-white system hostile to traditional western civilization. The vast majority are white, but not all. The vast majority are distrustful of organized Jewry to varying degrees, and see it as a corrupting and destructive force in the west, but most are willing to welcome individual Jews who expose and oppose the hostile anti-white elements of this organized Jewry.

Most are race realists, but not necessarily white supremacists, and to the extent they are white nationalists, they are still probably less ethnocentric and fanatical on the subject than your average zionist Jew(IE Jewish nationalists), and definitely less fanatical than the typical likud supporting Israeli, and yet the democrats and the neoliberal establishment will happily funnel billions to the most extreme right wing Israeli governments while openly calling far less right wing westerners far right extremists.
