I know vegetarian natsocs, not vegans though and vegetarians are in a small minority (not many fascists and national socialists were). I'm not one, although I do hope to cut out factory farming animal products from my diet.

My personal opinion is that the nationalist diet should be something that one could theoretically source themselves in a humane manner. Hunted or ethically farmed animal products, plants that can be grown in homeland, only processed products you could make yourself IE not including complex machinery, imported products etc. Something similar to paleo I guess, did you ever watch Varg's videos? I think his diet is pretty much what we should strive for, something that goes along perfectly with nature and is free from materialistic/semitic cruelty that one can categorise factory farming, kosher/halal etc slaughter as.

What you're referring to was mostly a German phenomenon. The Volkisch movement, which came out of the German Romantic-Nationalist reaction to the enlightenment, was the origin of communal living, environmentalism, animal rights, vegetarianism etc, all co-opted by jews and associated with the left today because they had to defang them. These, of course, all have their natural logical conclusion in becoming anti-semitic, hence them formulating the spiritual/cultural basis of National Socialism (the Folkish-Socialist ethical-social worldview). Hitler was famously a vegetarian and planned to try to transition the German population entirely away from eating meat, he also instituted the first animal welfare laws, and environmental laws. National Socialist Germany was the only consciously-environmentalist state to ever exist.
