You're so off the mark it's a bit sus.

[–]Site_sux 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (17 children)

It's laughably off the mark for OP to suggest that with this gold import ban, the west took a "final move" that puts "all chips on the table". It's a bit sus in how dumb a take it is. The free world can and will keep up the pressure on Putin until he and his fascist new world order finally kick the can. Like - at least if you're going to be this stupid - hold off until the pending Madrid NATO summit until you call a "final move" from the alliance.

What fucking free world?

[–]Site_sux 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

The one the tweet is accusing of having put "all chips on the table" and having taken a "final move". Wasn't it obvious from context?

[–]Dunwidit 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

It's obvious that you think some place in the world is still free... It's obvious in the context that you believe somebody is on our side. It's obvious from the context that you think the United States is not part of this whole fucking thing. So yes from the context it's obvious.

[–]Site_sux 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Alright so just from the perspective of checking your reading comprehension.

When the dumb op tweet says the G7 have taken a "final move".

And I reply that [some group] have plenty of dry powder yet.

Are you okay with parsing that as - the [some group] in my comment probably refers to the G7 in op's tweet. Like, is that a chain of causality you're able to follow? Because it looks like you're struggling with basic comprehension and I just want to check we're all on the same page here

[–]Dunwidit 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I will confess that I very much, way too often, recently find myself having knee-jerk reactions to things because I'm so fucking over it. If I misunderstood, my full apologies. I did however read (some group) as you believing or stating, the United States was above, somehow, the evil that's being globally perpetuated. We're the muscle, London has the banks, Vatican the opiate of the masses... And the rest of the globe (ALMOST) entirely are the pawns and tools of those three "institutions" and I'm at the point now where I see it all as being the 10 jelly beans with the one that will kill you. I ain't got time to sort it out... I ain't eating any fucking jelly beans. Also I should mention that I'm working with about a sixth grade education over here... At the river with the fam so I will go back and read read what you posted and will probably hang my head in shame as a result.

Your lack of understanding of economics is impressive. The US empire is based on a world tax founded in the use of the US dollar as the world reserve currency, that which is used in almost all international trade. By making this move, the world is forced to choose to side with either the USA, the bully that's been in wars what, 275 of the last 285 years? Some shit like that. Anyway, forcing the entire world to buy US dollars is a tax of sorts that enables the USA to print ungodly amounts of this fake money without destroying it.

But now that the world is forced to choose, they aren't choosing the warmongering bully. The end of the dollar as the world reserve currency, which is being helped along by this latest "all chips down" move, truly is "all chips down". Because it will keep OR BREAK the US dollar. And the world has chosen to end the US empire. Nethanyahu said, "We hate the USA so very much, and you know what we do with nations we hate? We destroy them. Slowly. But we destroy them so thoroughly that there is only dust left after we are done." Or something close to that, I am paraphrasing.

This is coming true now. The world is de-dollarizing. The USD is finished. Give it the rest of the decade to take its last, death-rattle breath. And with a destroyed currency, guess what? That vaunted "US wealth" exists no more. Dust. It's all turning to dust.

Hello, could you please explain what you mean?

  1. Why does the G7's gold import ban force all other nations to pick a side?

  2. What does a gold import ban have to do with the dollar as reserve currency?

Honestly, to be honest, a lot of your comment here seems to be totally made up nonsense. As Ariel Sharon once said, 'please, spare me your teenage trite bollocks and link to some sources that explain what you mean, which should be really simple for you, who has such a big brain you can go around calling "impressive" other people's lack of knowledge.' - I'm paraphrasing here, which is code for, I totally made it up.

This isn't a NATO matter, as Ukraine is no member. This isn't a G7 matter as they've just painted themselves into a corner, shutting off Russian Gold, fertilizer, grains and petrol from their own markets. Speaking of War mongers. it's you. You're the blood thirsty war monger in this thread. Now get fucked. Call up your broker. He's first in line for you gang bang. You're mamma gets sloppy seconds.

This isn't a NATO matter, as Ukraine is no member

Right but it doesn't make sense to talk about a "final move" from the west when the coming Madrid summit has a couple of fun announcements. Wouldn't they be closer to a "final move"

This isn't a G7 matter as

You mean the G7 matter in the tweet we're replying to isn't a G7 matter? What

Speaking of War mongers. it's you

Wow news to me! There's only one war I get behind, and that's the defensive war being fought by the heroes of Ukraine who are removing fascist rapist orcs from their occupation. Is it warmongering when you want an oppressed people to be free? Then sign me up!

I think the "all the chips on the table" statement is to characterize the entirety of US decisions regarding Ukraine since 2014. Not just the gold ban...

[–]Site_sux 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Ok so if this tweet is right, US is totally out of moves. No more agency in the whole affair.

So whatever America does next, it can't be blamed for - after all, America's decision making is exhausted, whatever happens next is not America's contemporary decision making. They are out moves with all chips on the table. Which means that however Biden reacts next is not America's doing.

It's an interesting perspective. It kind of absolves them of any blame in actions taken after this tweet, which looks to be around 26 hours old now if I am reading right.

[–]Questionable[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Wow. So Biden is absolved of all repercussions of the actions he may take after this tweet 26 hours ago, because he has no more actions he can take. Your intellect is truly stunning and without equal. We can literally start World War III now, assured in the fact that America will take zero responsibility for Biden's actions. Clearly I had no idea how important this tweet was. Thanks for putting it into perspective for me.

Take that you dirty Fascists!

[–]Site_sux 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

It's a question. Do you agree or disagree? Why or why not?

After all - you're the OP - it's you making the statement here that the west have no further agency in this conflict.

If there are no further cards to play - then when I think I see America playing a card or taking a decision, am I mistaken? How can America be taking more decisions - they're out of moves, according to you. Explain yourself.

[–]Questionable[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

OH, I am in totally agreement now with whatever you are saying. This is your thread now. Whichever way you lean, I mimic you, like a trusted follower. I don't explain myself. I follow, you lead. Everything you say in this thread is gospel to me now.

You say that tweet is the turning point of global events, I simply repeat back what you have said, only more assuredly, as you are without Question, here in YOUR thread.

You define reality, I only submit to your whims Sir.

[–]Site_sux 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Is this the first time you've had to engage like an adult on the internet? Or does it normally go like this?

I make a point and ask whether you agree or disagree. And you respond with childish sarcasm and more links to cartoons and kids movies.

Would you like another opportunity to behave like a grown up? Because I can ask again. Do you agree or disagree with my statement, and why?

I think if you once more reply with silly sarcasm and cartoons then it'll be pretty clear to everyone that you're not capable of stringing two thoughts together. Engage with the questions being asked, or else go watch a movie or something

[–]Questionable[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I'm just letting you know, I am here to support you sir! I agree with every talking point you are making in this thread. Bar none.

You think I should go watch a movie now sir? I will! Thank you for giving me your permission to watch a picture show!

[–]choppedlettuce 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I don't understand your point. You either agree or disagree with the "all the chips are in play" statement. If America does something else after, then clearly not all chips are in play. I disagree with the statement that America is out of moves to make, but I agree with the sentiment that it seems like America has played all of its low hanging fruit moves.
