This should be a no brainer. Is that thing you’re killing an innocent human being? If so, it is murder, no matter how much the mother whines about it.

Life begins at conception. At conception, a new organism begins with unique DNA which didn't exist before. It is alive, despite the fact that it is completely dependent on its mother. Leftists have been muddying the waters on this fact for a long time. I would respect their argument more if they said, "of course it's alive and I think we should be able to kill it," instead of pretending that it's a "mystery" when life begins. Every single one of us started as a fertilized egg. That is how every single person alive today began.

'Life" isn't the issue. A lot of things are alive. You kill bacteria every day. As noted at the link above: "the very beginnings of our higher brain structures only start to appear between weeks 12 and 16." The first trimester is the important period to consider. Moreover, you and others don't have the right to dictate the free will of others.

Sorry, I thought this was obvious, but we are talking about human life specifically- which is more valuable than a bacterium you ignoramus.

People have free will to use birth control. Otherwise you face the consequences of participating in the sole activity that creates new human life. That is just how life works. By trying to escape it and avoid it, we have made society more and more sick.
