Dore thinks Democrats are shitting the bed so much they're making even DeSantis look good, and Dore hates DeSantis.

I think Dore's underestimating the Democrat's continued monopolization of the media. When I drive around my 60/40 Democrat controlled neighborhood, I still see some Biden signs, and a hell of a lot of Ukrainian flags. They'll spin this Orwellian shit as not just a national good, but a necessity, and most people will gobble it up.

That's their privileged for controlling virtually all of Hollywood, academia and the media. Unless you follow right-leaning news sites, you're probably aren't even aware of the new Ministry of Truth. For example, CNN appears to have zero reporting on it. What's weird is that CNN's rss feeds covering non-CNN local news channels are mentioning the controversy.

That's Dore's blindspot. He actually follows real news sites. Most Americans don't. So Dore won't be able to accurately pick political shifts, even if he's accurate and informed on events.

That's not Dore's blindspot. That's his feature.

He's a limited hangout and can't often acknowledge media more alternative than he is.

Well sure, that is why I value his viewpoint, even if I don't always agree with him.

It's just that he seems perpetually surprised by how dumb and corrupt politicians and the public are.

He'd be a good boxer. Folks love his rage porn.

My shock and outrage to corruption has been bludgeoned numb so my only response is, "Of course. What else did you expect?"
