Agreed - this can be an unfair characterization of the right. I think the bit MSNBC is concerned about is the US right-wing LARPer, prepper, paramilitarism, Far-right accelerationists, far-right militias and others that expanded during the period of Trump's presidency. They're in various states, and Michigan is famous for the number of far-right militias its had for decades. These are dangerous folks who've developed these groups. Some of them are skinheads. Many of them support and are supported by the NRA. A number of them attacked the capitol on 6 Jan 2021. A portion of these groups are into physical fitness as part of their identity and rediness for the oncoming dissident movement. A number of users in /s/debatealtright discuss this stuff. I am joking with my comment, but if I am to be a bit more serious about this, MSNBC refers in my view to these far-right paramilitary movements in the US.
