I wouldn't recommend that people go out and spend a ton of start-up capital. Rather, it's best to begin something as a "side hustle" that takes very little initial investment but can be scaled up if there's potential.

it all depends. a lot of times a small business isn't going to succeed unless the owner puts in 80 hour weeks for it at the start. It takes a lot of work and you probably can't hire many employees starting out. Time is money of course. If you have a good job already yeah keep doing that and do a side hustle for a minimal amount of hours. Lot of people don't already have a great job, should they focus many hours on their own business or on working at mcdonalds.
