Consider this:
Conservatives are wary of taking experimental vaccines, and in many cases would rather be fired than forced to take one.
Progressives hold the reins of power in both government and corporations, and would fire all conservatives if they could, but need a proper pretext to do so.
You see where I'm going with this? Here's what this means should the vax mandates go through:
Conservatives will leave their positions en masse, meaning they will have far less influence in the business world, in government, in academia, and even in the police and the military.
All of the positions that opened up will go to more progressive members of society who took the vaccine (and maybe even restricted only to those willing to take booster shots). This means progressives aren't just in the leadership of powerful organizations, but make up almost 100% of their members. Their level of power would be unprecedented.
An additional side effect is that conservatives will lose access to many of the higher-paying and higher-status jobs. They will become second-class citizens even more than they already are, and have to work at privately-owned companies or as independent contractors (which isn't terrible but jobs may be harder to find).
Of course, all of this is very bad news. However, I don't like to focus on problems, but also on solutions. Here is some of the silver lining:
Conservatives will have to stop working for woke companies and contributing value to them. Instead, they will build up private businesses that respect freedoms.
With a more limited labor pool to choose from, woke companies will be less able to provide acceptable products and services. Some may fail because of this.
Conservatives will have to move from tyrannical leftist states (and countries) to ones that respect more freedom. They will no longer support tyrannical states with their tax dollars.
Conservatives will remember the BS they've been put through, and boycott big corporations that pushed through vax mandates, depriving them of considerable amounts of revenue.
As a result of all of the above, conservatives will start building their own communities, connecting with one another, and setting up parallel economies.
Note that I'm using "conservatives" here as a catch-all term; feel free to substitute "liberty lovers", "redpilled", "sane people", or whatever.
I'd like to hear what people think of my original proposition in the title. But I also want to stress that though this will be very negative in the short term, in the long term it could potentially get conservatives to do more than they've done in decades in terms of organizing and getting connected with one another.
