Yes, and no.

Compare the Google to the DuckDuckGo results, and see that DDG is better.

However, DDG is not free of being compromised - and apparently it's been sliding.

duckduckgo does target searches of users and ranks results. My duckduckgo results are worse than google. Both google and Duckduckgo are owned by the tribe, same with Bing.

Don't defend DDG. It is not a solution. Its yet another blind end.
