You make a good point. However, "melanin" as you put it, and socialism are strongly correlated. Especially if there is any diversity in your country or area because that will cause a wealth disparity between groups. That disparity will cause the poor to envy the rich and try to take their wealth by force. Which is, of course, the point of socialism.
