Why did the FBI block James O'Keefe from purchasing a gun, but not the Moslem terrorist in Boulder who was on their watch list?

Good question - but rather than set up this false equivalence or whataboutist, misleading drama - why not ask?:

Why did the FBI [not] block[... the domestic] terrorist [...] from purchasing a gun

It's that simple. Track gun ownership.

If he was already on an FBI watch list for potential terrorist activity, his access to guns should have been tracked, or checked, or prohibited, where possible.
