People seem to forget that the Germans embraced the Nazi party largely because they were successfully fighting back against the endless months of communist riots that plagued Germany. The commies were attacking and burning the districts that everyday Germans live in as part of their revolutionary playbook, inciting agitprop and instability to drive people closer to adopting a communist revolution. The Nazis successfully fought back and crushed them, which normal German people were greatly thankful for.
