Because his approaches were similar to those of a dictator.

I visited several sites that are mentioned at thegatewaypundit.com (disinformation scum), and I see that I can comment on posts at those accounts.

thegatewaypundit.com has lied to us once again.

Attempts to make people distrust journalists

Given some of the things they print these days that's some solid advice.

Glorification of the 1% at the expense of the 99%

Uh, what? Lots of what's in this list, but ya.

Sexism and misogyny

And yet on Biden's first day in office he obliterates sex based rights for women with a stroke of his pen. Trump had actually tried to undo some of the damage that Obama/Bide did to women's sex based rights.

Attempts to make people distrust journalists.

Never really did that. CNN are propagandist reporters and the corporate media is a sham. What he really did was market media by reverse psychology. In so, he brought back media credibility on a partisan basis. Think about that for a minute. One of his good friends is the CEO of CNN and he got his supporters to support FOX whilst his haters got trapped in the neoliberalism of CNN. Win, win.

Attempts to silence those who are not loyal to him.

Agreed. Though Biden and the ADL are doing this now like never before. The people Biden has appointed are nearly all Zionist Jews. Take into account that Jews are 2% of the pop., and Zionists even less so, means this is out of proportion to their pop per capita.

Attempt to delegitimize a democratic election

The US is a charter corporation. Never was or is a democracy and you're voting your electors in, though, they don't have to listen to you at all; and every election has been illegal since the two corporations, GOP and DNC pick their candidates which is unconstitutional.

Opposition to democracy

The US is not a democracy and never has been ever.

Opposition to political and cultural liberalism

Liberalism in it's legal def. has caused the destruction of society and radical individualism.

Totalitarian ambitions

True.

Radical republican borrowing form China to pay for tax breaks for the 1%

True.

Corporatism and arranging corporate bribes for himself and his family

True.

Imperialism and associated racism

Jewish supremacism and Zionism and I'm sure Biden will up the ante of imperialism.

The “new man”

What is this?

Glorification of the 1% at the expense of the 99%

Very true. But at least he admits to this; the democrats pretend to be on your side. For that reason, vote third party or stop contracting with US corporation.

Demanding loyalty from everyone

True.

Constant lying (10s of thousands of lies, in daily Tweets)

True. Though he probably doesn't tweet. Probably his advors or a DoD employee does it for him. Too many perception management instances in hos tweets for it to be him.

Inciting violence.

Never really did that. That was the Q-storm Psyop and scapegoating of Esau. Thr democrats and republicans secretly loved that storm on the capitol.

Extreme nationalism

For Israel. He hates the US. Nationalism on a free-market non-intervention basis is better than what Biden or Trump represent.

Scapegoating

Definitely!

Gaslighting

Definitely

Populism

What's wrong with real populism? Trump is the very opposite of a populist, no matter what internationalist plutocrats say.

Revolutionary image

Lol

Sexism and misogyny etc, etc

True. He has many rape allegations and hired Acosta.

Constant lying (10s of thousands of lies, in daily Tweets). This statement is a lie because he didn't said thousands of tweets daily.

This kind of hyperbole is the kind of ''lie'' he is being accused of saying. So, are you are lier as well or are the mainstream media overeacting because he use hyperbole?

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

It's not unusual in English to refer to 10,000s of something, accumulated daily in Tweets. It's not expected that anyone would assume that this meant 10,000's of lies daily. This is also commonly known. You can Google it and find several reports, eg: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-election-2020/trump-lies-false-presidency-b1790285.html

[–]Akali 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

The point is that the media count every hyperbole he makes as a lie to rank up their numbers and claim he says lies none stops. To say your hyperbole is more common then his hyperbole doesn't change the fact it's an hyperbole. When he says : I'm the least racist person here. The least least racism. There's 2 sentences. They are both hyperbole. The mainstream media count it as 2 lies. They'll go. Trump said 2 more lies in the same tweet.

So either you count every hyperbole as lies or you don't. But acting like you have the moral high ground because your hyperbole is more commonly used really just make it feel like you have an agenda to push instead of being fair in your judgement.

One related aspect here is the "dog whistle," whereby Trump asked Proud Boys to "stand back and stand by."

https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/trump-s-proud-boys-stand-back-stand-debate-moment-was-ncna1241570

One could argue that the MSM did not interpret this properly, and that it was actually hyperbole.

I think Trump was always speaking to the lowest common denominator of his base support group. He was self-actualized by it. He craved the attention.

He and his team would use the hyperbole argument, or would note he was off script, or joking. He was however the US President, and thus should have been held responsible for his comments.

The other problem with the hyperbole argument is that - though we can agree this argument may apply in some cases - Trump repeated the same lies on a regular basis. He and his team knew exactly why it was important to repeat those lies. From lies about Obama's citizenship to lies about vote counting in the US, many of us can remember the lies because they were repeated many times. One of the shorter lists: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/list/?speaker=donald-trump&ruling=false

Explain why it is disinformation 'scum?' Of course, I know that gatewaypundit is Zionist owned, so that's one strike.
