I don't think anybody ever made "the most popular president ever" claim. Especially those old enough to remember Reagan or know their history well enough to know of Eisenhower. Democrats since Al Smith have always garnered hatred from America's oligarchs who fund effective campaigns of hate toward their perceived class enemies.

it's a simple metric, just poll the base for approval as they do. YT likes is not a good metric however, although I suspect we will see corelate to his actual popularity.
