It doesn't surprise me one bit. Biden got 81 million votes because those people hate Trump that much, it's not that they love Biden. DNC could have run a turnip and it'd have gotten 85 million votes.

Half of the US population lives in just 143 counties (4.3%).

There's no way he got more votes than Biden in black districts. Heck, he could barely get 5 people to his rallies, the few he had. Most of the time he campaigned from his basement.

The number of counties is completely irrelevant. Some have millions of residents and some have hundreds.
