Animal cruelty of that sort is a warning sign for psychopaths. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with killing pests, but the gleeful way they beat that raccoon to death with baseball bats is beyond the pale. While I feel some measure of pity for the raccoon, my real concern is what it indicates about those people.
