Yeah AIDS was a huge bummer. It was called Gay Related Immune Disorder. It spread far and fast because conservatives blocked research and treatment into it. They thought it was great all the gays were dying, but then it turned out a lot of the conservatives were secretly gay too and it spread to the mainstream communities. Now any responsible gay man can take a medication called PREP that will make it impossible to get HIV if he wants to bareback. The closeted and ashamed gay men don't take this medication because it would give them away, so they are the ones spreading HIV now. You're helping them do it, good job.

Personally, I always use condoms for anal sex with strangers. If I need that hot skin on skin contact I get a blowjob and cum down some dude's throat in the woods. With a mask on of course. The I wipe down my crotch with hand sanitizer.

Your knowledge is woefully out of date.

I feel like I discovered a new STD just by reading this post. No way you're clean. No one needs to put you on the bundle of sticks because God does it through the AIDS

Well if my blood isn't clean, the red cross must have missed something because they just accepted two units of packed red cells directly from my veins into their blood supply two weeks ago. I didn't even have COVID antibodies. And before you ask, I lied about having sex with men on the questionnaire. I wanted a free covid antibody test. Plus it felt good to finally give blood. I'm gonna do it again in October.

Just think, if you need a transfusion you could get my blood injected into your body. In fact, lots of gay men lie in order to give blood, just for the free testing.

Do they actually test the blood before they use it? If not this was irresponsible on your part if you had random sex with strangers recently.

I don’t necessarily agree with a blanket ban of gays when donating blood, but it does warrant additional testing.

EDIT: Also, I’m half Jewish, so my criticism of you isn’t coming from a place of antisemitism.

They wouldn't know which tests to run without the proper information

They run the same tests on all the blood.

Question is ... which tests? Do they at least do an HIV antibody and/or antigen screen?

I know you resented even sending the link. But thank you. You’ve put my mind at ease about this.

I knew it would be easy to find because I did my research before donating. I wanted to know what it would mean if they accepted my blood, i.e. what tests had to come back negative.

I also thought maybe you were asking so I would post it for other people to see which would strengthen my other comments

Oh my God, do your own research.
