I'm seeing the companies but I'm not seeking the alternatives in what you linked? In some cases it seems impossible to boycott certain companies if there's no viable alternative. For example, I don't think I could boycott Home Depot AND Lowe's. From what I've heard, Home Depot would seem to be the better option if you were to choose one or the other.

There are a lot of medium or smaller hardware stores that sell most of the same stuff and it doesn't take a couple minutes to walk from one end to the other. As far as building supplies and lumber there are local institutions that the commercial guys frequent that would also be happy to sell to you as well. It all kind of depends on your locale though. Also there are franchises like "Builders Discount Centers".

Edit: I'll add that I've already boycotted about half the big box stores in my area this spring since they got people waiting in line outside and wearing muzzles. None of the other stores I mentioned are like that. The only reason I go to those big box stores is because of speed and I'm already in the area.

This is an excellent resource, thanks!

Do you have any other tips on alternatives you'd be willing to share?

Home Depot & Lowe's: There are lots of smaller hardware stores around.
Disney/Netflix/Hollywood/etc: That's easy. Piracy.
Gilette/Nike/etc: There's a shitload of razor and shoe manufacturers.
Professional sports: Sports are boring af so I've already spent my life boycotting them.
Google: Use AdBlock and DuckDuckGo

It's a ton of companies but most of them have alternative solutions.

Gillette and Nike were the easiest ones for me. I have SlingTV, not sure of the parent company but my package doesn't include Disney/ESPN so that's at least something. I use DuckDuckGo but I guess I need to install AdBlock because Google is still tracking you? MLB is the only pro sport I still follow and so far they're the least woke so hopefully it stays that way. I guess the short answer for a lot of these is to support local businesses, which we should be doing anyway.

I need your help to research alternatives. I made this thread because I have some idea of the bad companies, but I can't uncover all of the bad companies and find alternatives alone. I also need other people to share the boycott list once it's compiled. Would you be able to assist with any of that?
