He’s not wrong though. Some races may be more intelligent than others, but at the end of the day, humans are self serving creatures. We’re capable of great acts of empathy, but it’s the exception, not the rule.

And yes ... I hope I’m wrong.

I used to have a lot of empathy as a kid. Not anymore really, after I grew up and saw people were like my empathy and kindness faded. I guess empathy is just a child like trait I guess, although it doesn't apply to babies since they are still growing up and learning. Also beta male dogs are very kind and empathetic.
