It's All Politics
You can have power or you can have “protected group” status. You shouldn’t be able to have both.

That’s what some “marginalized groups” are gunning for right now.

Most of the leftist subs who ban users for expressing counter-arguments have historically been the ones complaining about censorship.
And now some of them (GenderCritical) are once again complaining about censorship when they've been engaged in harsh censorship on Reddit for years.

The first posts they're putting up are "fuck off men, this is our safe space"
So yeah, fuck gender-critical. They're just mad that they weren't the ones wielding the banhammer this time.

One of them even went as far as to say that the reason why they ban people in the sub already is because they already know that their opinion is invalid. So there is no use and even arguing.
Honest to God, this is no different than people moving out of a blue state into a red one and then voting for all of the Democratic politicians again. It’s why they destroy every place they touch. Geographically or online.

There shouldn't be "protected groups" in the first place.

I'm not sure that works. By providing protected status to certain groups (e.g protected characteristics in legislation) it gives them a degree of power that they didn't have before doesn't it?
