faster it gets a vaccine faster economy can come back, but will it? Now many states are opening back up but that will lead to second phase with many dying. Then economy shut down again. But I do think Trump wins against weak biden anyway, and could have a great recovery during his time, but he needs to get the scientists on that vaccine.

It is an interesting situation when people get more from unemployment than from their jobs.

If they could keep the unemployment and begin working again, I wonder how many would then return to work?

I can't blame people for making a prudent financial decision. However some may not be able to find jobs if they lose the ones they're asked to go back to, which may be worse in the long-term.

I think people should just get the unemployment money even if they return to work, and we could consider it a universal basic income experiment. Then it would at least remove the financial incentive to avoid work, and would make working profitable again.
