One of the bittersweet things about growing old is realizing how mistaken you were when you were young. As a young political leftist, I saw the left as the voice of the common man. Nothing could be further from the truth.

He's a smart man. The world needs more fellows like him and i fear as we lose these great thinkers, we are left with purveyors of modern monetary theory and "government shall provide" ideology, which is leading us down a path of changes that will last the remaining years of this country.
