Wow.

Americans scream that there would be no downsides if the USA defaulted on the debt, but wouldn't China and Japan be angry about not getting their money back?

Will businesses and Americans who bought US bonds be upset about being ripped off? Wouldn't companies who get fleeced need to lay off workers and shut down?

Wouldn't banks that bought worthless US bonds be able to pay back bank customers?

Would anyone be willing to loan the US government money again if the government defaulted? Where would the government get the funds to pay for Social Security and wars without huge tax hikes?

Couldn't a massive economic collapse caused by the US government defaulting on loans result in riots, chaos, bankruptcies, electrical and water failure, starvation, civil war, martial law, concentration camps, and WWIII?

I think it's all illusion we as corporation, yes the United States is a corporation should have been forced into chapter 11 long ago.

Deficit as such doesn’t matter as much as the debt to GDP ratio. If you increase your deficit while decreasing your debt to GDP ratio then all is good, feel free to carry on.

All that matters to them is enforcing the fiat. That means using military force on other countries to use the dollar as the worlds currency reserve. As BRIC countries turn away and dedolarize, multilateralism will take over and with it the European energy market. Likely, an Isolationist policy will lead to this outcome, which can be achieved if we work out a bank system that is headed by state treasuries rather than an incorporated central bank.

Maybe the debt will be paid off by illegal immigrants, technology, a zero percent tax rate, or magic fairy dust, but the reality is that the US debt is increasing constantly, no one cares, and spending more money to reduce the debt will only lead to disaster.

Debt didn’t work out too well for Rome, Germany, Japan, Greece, or Zimbabwe.

Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

One of the reasons the US is collapsing now is that Americans think that decay will be stopped by becoming Fascists and Communists.

Americans think the US will be improved by expanding wars, increasing the debt, and adding more tyranny when the reason the USA is crashing is because the US has wars, is in debt, and has a police state.

Americans say that they love freedom, but then they turn around and say they need the government to give them free Obamacare, build a wall, protect the US from Yemen, wiretap their phones, arrest people for feeding the homeless, stop farmers from plowing fields, force people to get rid of dogs, ban vaping, and torture suspects.

Every country has the government it deserves.

The US is rapidly declining.

Everyday the tyranny grows, the debt increases, and the wars continue.

The government and illegal aliens don't obey the law.

You are being wiretapped. There are cameras everywhere.

You have no rights.

The USA is not a democracy.

You must give the government your fingerprints and DNA.

Americans are forbidden from starting a business and given welfare to make them dependent children.

You are told to wear a mask, but masks are illegal.

Carrying cash is illegal, but depositing less than $10,000 into own bank account is a crime.

You must use seatbelts and helmets.

You can't smoke.

Any thinking person would feel like they are choking.

How could you not be enraged?

Not only are Americans silent about the police state, they are so enslaved now that they beg their beloved government overlords for more chains and more laws.

Absolute insanity.

The whole country seems to be having a nervous breakdown.
