I like this kind of stuff, but why on /politics? Seems more at home at /s/paranormal sub.

I didn't even know that subsaidit existed! Thank you, I'll take that into consideration next time!
I posted this to politics because he's a physicist that worked for a special government program (having involved the DOD/CIA/FBI and more) for several decades that focused on remote viewing (the paranormal bit) for spying/other purposes. Didn't know where else to share it!

Yes there is a lot of interest in the paranormal by the CIA. The KGB also had very interesting research.
It is sad that there is a lot of false scepticism on the subject. It is so overdone, that it is clear for me that the opposition is on purpose. Especially after encountering some paranormal stuff myself. The cause of much of the resistance might the strong fear of the paranormal.
A lot of remote viewing on the New Thinking Allowed channel on Youtube: 1. Controlled Remote Viewing with Lyn Buchanan 2. Remote Viewing with Stephan A. Schwartz 3. Archeological Remote Viewing in Japan with Joseph McMoneagle 4. Becoming a Professional Remote Viewer with Lori Williams
The channel has a lot of weird stuff and is hosted by a scientist in parapsychology. Have fun with it.

More information from this controversial event here: https://suespeaks.org/ex-tedx-west-hollywood/ Russell Targ is a physicist who spent several decades working in a US government program exploring "remote viewing" - an apparent anomalous extended characteristic of the mind. Targ is convinced the effect is real."

Banned because it's stupid?

How is it stupid? This is Russell Targ, he was contracted and worked for the CIA, DIA and Army Intelligence via SRI; he worked with them for a decade on remote viewing. If these three branches found what he's discussing informative and worth studying and paying for, how is it stupid?
He then proceeded to work for Lockheed Missiles and Space Company as senior staff scientist. I don't get how he, or what he's saying is stupid.
It may be hard to believe or unbelievable to some which is fair, but what he's saying did happen and he isn't some wack job, he's worked with and for prestigious organizations.
