How does one start up a crypyo? Would it take all 23 of us to invest?

one could design a custom block chain system(because people seem to like that) that works for a new type of digital currency..

lets call it crapcoin..

you could just simulate a bunch of fake transactions and make it look like there is a frenzy of buying activity and then the sheep will follow..

yup, that is actually how all of the digitial coins began.

And if I remember correctly, Dogecoin was popularized by Reddit.

For Saiditcoin to develop, it would want the support of Reddit crypto intestors, and it would have to include a funny name and mascot. And because Saidit was founded on principles of the original Reddit and "free speech", I'd recommend an original Reddit theme and early discussion reference like:

Aliencoin

Baconcoin

Narwhalcoin

With an image that has one of these symbols within the coat of arms (but not the coat of arms): https://i.imgur.com/zOkeUuB.png

Initially, although just like Shib, nobody gave a damn until Elon Musk tweeted about it. Shib is a next to worthless shitcoin, but Doge is worse.

As a practical consideration, I wouldn't even try to do anything to promote an in-house coin before the Saidit regulars buy millions of coins for cheap first. It'd be like gambling on penny stocks.

I've never done it, but I believe the easiest way is to mint an ERC-20 token on a DeFi exchange. You can C&P the initial code from an existing coin, or just the parent token Eth, and then you simply need to supply some liquidity.

For years I've been saying every city should have their own crypto.

I'd be down with starting WindsorCoin.

Not sure how many local suckers investors we can muster.

There's at least one, MiamiCoin was the first "CityCoin" on the market. It's at $0.02232, downward trend.

102 people looked at the image. I don't know if it's suckers. It's a helluva long shot, but those really pay off when they hit. Like if you read about the guy who made billions off $8000 with Shib, he wasn't buying an established coin at an exchange, that was an early adopter who just gambled like crazy on a relatively unknown defi coin.

Better than a lottery. But I don't care about gambling. I see every city having their own crypto as a chance to decentralize and take charge of your own region's currency. If WindsorCoin sold out or whatever it would be easy enough to start WindsorCoin2 or whatever - keeping the people in charge.
