That is the law, police and school staff are not obligated to protect anyone and they usually don't. Police arrest criminals after the crime, they don't prevent the crime. So many people don't know this. Once you understand that, how can you agree with schools being gun-free zones where no one can defend themselves against a criminal with a gun. Quite the dilemma eh?
