This one's from Charlie An(g)us, a member of the NDP party, which are the guys propping up Trudeau's government.

They're also euthanizing the "mentally ill" in Canada now. And, who exactly is "mentally ill"? Anybody the Canadian government says is "mentally ill".

This bill hasn't passed. It's still insane though.

This bill is targeting big oil and misleading fossil fuel advertising.

"The new bill would outlaw marketing that downplays the climate-altering emissions and health hazards associated with the industry, or promotes fossil fuels in ways that are false, misleading or deceptive."

This has nothing to do with individuals and it's based off anti Tabaco laws that came into effect in the late 1990s.

And it doesn't affect a literary, dramatic, musical, cinematographic, scientific, educational or artistic work, production or performance nor an opinion, commentary or report in respect of fossil fuels, fossil fuel-related brand elements that is not paid for by the fossil fuel industry.

Oil & gas companies have been advertising pretty hard in my feed. The posts have a lot of likes. Government probably can't stand this, with the new carbon tax landing next month.

Obviously they are going to sell it as that, but anyone with basic understanding of how laws are used can see that it is worded in a way to allow exactly what this post claims, and that is not on accident. Anyone speaking publicly can be said to be marketing. Any argument that promotes fossil fuels over "renewables" can be said to be downplaying the harm of fossil fuels. The government already lies about what is misinformation, they can define it as absolutely anything.

I love oil too. Canada…not so much.

It's Bill C-372, not Law C-372. This means it has been proposed in the House of Commons but there's no way it'll pass. It's concerning as hell though that a bill like this would even make it to the floor of the house. And from the supposedly democratic NDP.

Sure, more BS from the oil supporters.

Yup, it is tottaly becoming more f**ked up unreasnoable tax & fines grab facist regime in Canada, thanks to the top 0.1% ultra rich: the corrupt politicains and their masters mega-coporate CEOs. No doubt the EV Tesla Billonare Elon Musk one of the main beneficiary behind this too.

We need another mass freedom convoy / trucker rally to set things right again.
