Change of topic?

Is Putin honest?

Russian propaganda is about stirring up unrest, not about picking just one side over another. The propaganda supports conflict of any kind, create fights between political groups, to weaken the public and thereby develop an interest in an authrotarian candidate, austerity, etc. It's not meant to be obvious. It's meant to upset people, to engage them. This has happened for at least 2 decades, though especially since 2015. Their mission: sow discontent. There is a lot about this online, though mainly in foreign policy discussions.

I remember a banner in a Russian airport:

Been hacked? Lost an election? Maybe it was us?

LOL

It's not like Russian officials have tried to hide the fact that Russia is essentially run like a mafia.
