Lumping flat earthers and aliens in with the very real concerns that COVID came from a research lab and that media apparatchiks might skew a story to their own political leanings are two very different things.

The fact that the media are conflating the topics does not help their case in squelching the growth of the latter beliefs in the populace.

    I don't really know about that. I just think that insulting your readership isn't necessarily the best way to convince them that you're on the up-and-up.
