Haven't we heard this many times, even in our local areas? People throw away food because of no power for refrigeration. The food spoils and is wasted. This is happening now in South Africa.

Difference: in south africa it's a way of life and they're smart enough to not open the freezer until the power comes back on. This state of emergency didn't happen overnight LOL
