A junkie mother fucker dies from an overdose while resisting arrest, everyone loses their shit. Your government throwing your tax dollars down the drain to line the pockets of a corrupt country and to feed a war that could have been in peace talks if it weren't for that shit for brains Biden, nobody gives a shit. 🤷

I think it's a bit more complicated than that. The issue with police using excessive force in the US is serious in general, and there had been a ton of these instances of them killing black people, George Floyd wasnt an incident that happened in a vacuum. Was the dude a junkie? Yeah maybe, but he looked pretty alive, and not like a guy having an overdose to me before they knelt on his neck for 10 minutes. I was under the impression that you were quite familiar with the use of stimulant drugs yourself

But yes, its amazing how much nobody gives a shit about a hundred billion dollars evaporating into thin air

I'm fairly familiar with the case and was under the impression that care had initially been taken, that EMT's had been called and that he was a repeat overdoser having done the same the week before. The knee position was documented as part of their regular training and submitted as evidence. Combining fentanyl with potent stimulants is a recipe for disaster, and having been hospitalised for that combination recently prior, he should have known better even with an addiction. I'm experienced with a.wide.range of substances and landed myself in some serious shit before, but if I were arrested committing a crime while overdosing.and.resisting, I would not hold someone accountable for following procedure. Criminals have a tendency to bite, carry needles, spit, carry weapons and critically, lie. I'm of the opinion that Floyd would have died before EMT's arrived regardless of police interference.

It may be a poor example, and I agree that police misconduct is a serious issue in the US especially, but I singled this out in particular due to the sheer intensity of public outcry for one story in contrast to another.

Yeah I agree with this, there were definitely better cases that could have been the poster child for addressing this problem. I think this had more to do with the buildup from previous incidents, combined with the beginning of the Pandemic when everyone was at home glued to the TV

Quantities are disputed, in truth we may never know what the real toxicology report was, but it had been suggested that he was heavily intoxicated.

The video of him in the shop was typical of high levels of stimulants, he was fidgety and erratic. It looked similar to when I've seen someone mix tramadol with alcohol and amphetamines, almost on the verge of serotonin syndrome in mannerisms. He was later dopey in his car, no doubt from opiate ingestion.

Stimulants constrict blood flow, change blood pressure and increase heart rate to the point that stimulants alone can cause difficulty breathing. Opiates too can depress breathing to the point of respiratory failure. I believe he had also tested positive for COVID during his previous admission to hospital. The poor guy was never going to make it. But I can't say he was a saint or that he was murdered.

It intrigues me that in France, the public react in the exact opposite. When terrorists set fire to churches and decapitate nuns, the country carries on in silent mourning of the loss. But when taxes increase, they hit the streets and riot.

Behaviour of crowds and mass population is fascinating and frustrating. As a particularly suspicious natured character, I often hold mistrust of any popular movement or authority. I was suspicious of COVID, suspicious of BLM, I'm suspicious of war and corruption, and I'm suspicious of ideologies that pressure us to behave in one way or another. How does one nation react so differently to another?

No you aren't. When it comes to Havana Syndrome you are a bootlicking piece of shit, even though this is specifically what is intended to do.

I know very little about Havana Syndrome, but the only person who has been pushing that as a narrative has been you, not an ideological authority. As a moderately trustworthy internet stranger, I have no real reason to doubt you, but I continue to question your credibility and to interrogate your self diagnosed condition. This was more fun in a Socratic method 😐

Fuck this guy. I am in the top 10% of earners in America and this pisses me off, I feel it. How are you all holding up out there.

Back in my day a billion dollars was seen as an impossible to repay deficit.
