He will get thrown in jail if he doesn’t buy.

Elon Musk is going to jail because he didnt pay $44,000,000,000.00 for a pile of crap website.

No chickenz. I’m not trying to be smart or offend you.

He legally made a bid to buy the company, he submitted an offer to the SEC for a public company.

Once that happens, there’s legal ramifications. It’s a WHOLE PROCESS. Where Elon gets to look at their papers, and they get to discuss this with their owners. Etc.

If everything checks out, he is legally bound to to purchase the company. In fact, I believe the money is in escrow, or some kind of vested interest has been made where the money automatically transfers.

If he doesn’t purchase the company, he will be in contempt of court.

The most likely thing a court will do, for Elon Musk, in contempt of court, is to place him in custody, jail. This will be the quickest way to enforce the laws that he triggered.

if i go to look at a car with the intent that i want to buy that car... if the seller had misrepresented important issues about the car, good luck forcing me to carry thru with the deal.

i am sure that mr elon musk stated his intent to purchase a social media that has represented itself as having a very low percentage of bots on the site.

it is twitter that has misrepresented it's product... twitter has represented that their forum consists of a very low number of bots.

i am not a lawyer, but i dont think that they can force him to do anything at this point.

that is my opinion.

as far as mr musk and jail are concerned, that is simply not going to happen because in no way has mr elon musk ever tried to misreprent anything nor has he intended to harm any person or entity, either financial or physical or other types of harm.

those are the kinds of things that people go to jail for, when they intentionally do harm to another, not because he tried to buy a social media company but it turned out that twitter is a garbage pit of bots and shills.

good luck.

Yes. That’s a good point.

It’s a WHOLE PROCESS. Where Elon gets to look at their papers,

yes, that is the whole point... mr elon musk was reviewing their "papers" and he found representations that they have a low percentage of bots and they also made misrepresentations regarding valid user accounts totals and traffic stats, etc..

twitter has misrepresented itself across the board... if twitter cant demonstrate that they have a low number of bots and accurately declare their user account/posting history/reading history, then if those numbers have been misrepresented... it is twitter that should be careful at this point, because this could take twitter down the myspace and aol road to hell.

regarding the sinking of social media companies, when users abandon a social media site, the ship tends to take on water quickly.

if twitter can not accurately declare their company stats accurately, their company could simply blow away with the wind.

Why are you acting like you diddnt know the process? Up above it seemed like you diddnt know what was going on.

Yea. So they were in a lawsuit. And I dunno. We had to see the results of said lawsuit.

let us not forget that it is not me that is on trial here... it is not elon musk that is on trial. it is, however, twitter that is on trial.

it is twitter that has been misrepresenting it's company structure and stats, and most probably that is where the crime is to be found.

no need to get upset with me.

Chickens. I’m not upset with you.

You are making great points about Elon and twitter.

I think you may be reading hostility out of text that isn’t there. I’m super chill.

Elon ain't buying Twitter.

If Twitter was smart, they would let this dog rest.

It might backfire.

Are you particularly interested? Do you like Elon?
