In addition, it's going to take trillions of dollars to upgrade electrical infrastructure to accommodate them. California was already begging people to not charge their cars at like 5% electrics in the state. If it's 95%, where is the electricity going to come from? Solar and wind cannot bridge that gap, plus transmission lines will need to be multiplied manifold.
